My Life/My Job: Alzheimer's support group affirmed life's calling

First job: Working for my parents at the Lakeland International Raceway. I worked the pit gate.

Most recent job: Marketing director with the Gardens of Germantown Memory Care

Career highlights: Awarded the President's Award at Promus Hotels, learning the true meaning of living each day to its fullest from the families when I worked at the Ronald McDonald House, helping families affected by Alzheimer's.

Most satisfying career moment: My first day on the job at the Alzheimer's Association. I was invited to a support group meeting, and I was so humbled by the women who were dealing with Alzheimer's. I knew at that moment this was my calling.

Career advice: Work in an industry you are passionate about and everything will fall into place.

Person I most admire: My parents -- they were both the hardest working, most endearing people I've ever known.

Hobbies: Volunteering for On Location: Memphis International Film and Music Festival.

What is something that most people don't know about you: I am obsessed with all the New Jersey reality TV shows. I love the makeup, big hair, big jewelry.

Change I would like to see: For more people to see the positive aspects of Memphis -- the arts, the culture, the nonprofit groups.
