Updated 2:35PMFor many, the slightly early turn of season brings it all back. There was more than a hint of fall in the air under clear, blue skies in Memphis on the day of the 9/11 terrorist attacks 10 years ago.

Memphians marked the decade since the attacks numerous ways over the weekend.
Employees at Medtronic Inc. observed the occasion Friday, Sept. 9, at the start of the workday.
Other observances in the city included one planned for Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Memphis Fire Museum to also honor the city?s fallen firefighters whose stories are told in the museum.
The Memphis landmark changed most by the terrorist attacks, Memphis International Airport, now has much more security in place than it did before the attacks, just like other airports across the country.
West Tennessee Transportation Safety Administration security director Kevin McCarthy told reporters security measures would remain constant through the anniversary.
The grounding of all flights in the immediate aftermath of the attacks was another memory many have in a city where FedEx is not just a logo on cargo jets but a major part of the local economy.
Also in the aftermath of the attack, what was then the Emergency Management Agency headquarters near the Mid-South Fairgrounds was the assembly point for members of Tennessee Task Force One, a search-and-rescue and recovery team.
The team was sent to The Pentagon for what the collection of doctors, nurses and other emergency responders at first believed would be a search-and-rescue mission.
Shortly after the group left Memphis in a car and truck caravan to Washington, the team learned its job would not be search and rescue, but the recovery of bodies.
