(Memphis 9/14/2011) A Memphis store clerk is behind bars accused of threatening a customer ordering a pizza at his Orange Mound grocery store. Forty-four-year-old Nasredin Kharash is charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

Tasha Warren says she stopped by the Save More Grocery store on Park Avenue because she saw an advertisement for Hunt Brothers Pizza. Once her pizza was finished, Warren says she complained because it was burnt and didn't have banana peppers. She says that's when Kharash started cursing at her.

"This man just freaked out on us over a pizza that I already paid for," Warren said. "So my nephew came in and heard him talking to me like that and he told him we want our money back. You're not going to keep talking to her like that," she added.

Warren says that's when Kharash grabbed a gun from behind the counter and pointed it at her.

"The guy reached under the cash register, pulled it out, cocked it back. He was getting ready to come out the door and said, 'I will blow you away'," Warren said.

Memphis police arrested Kharash, and took the weapon as evidence after the witnesses described it and told police where it could be found in the store.

News Channel 3 stopped by the Save More Grocery store Wednesday, and spoke to a clerk who says he was there when the altercation happened. The man, who would not give his name, says there was nothing wrong with the pizza, and that there was no gun involved.

"We did everything we could to satisfy the customer," he said, adding that Warren got her $20 back for the pizza.

Meantime, Warren is glad the man accused of attacking her is no longer serving pizzas, rather time in jail on a $75 thousand bond.
